….thinking this morning about neil young, After the Gold Rush.
This, and a handful of other seminal albums from my mom’s collection, is the oldest music I can remember getting caught up in and playing just to focus on the songs. The earliest recollections I have of generally learning music is cool. Like a drug even, sometimes.

This I thought as I was playing fervent air guitar to Touch too Much, by AC/DC, a song imprinted on me when I was ten. (Note: This particular piece emanated from my brother’s collection. Although I will also add I witnessed my mother punch up the volume about 6 notches one, in the car, when “Highway to Hell” came on the radio. True.)
Today, almost 30 years later, my air guitar was flawless.
