Couldn’t sleep, came across the 1975 Altman film Nashville on tv. Forgot about this movie, which, when I remember it, I count in my top 5. Dag.
Worth it just for Shelley Duvall with an afro, but so, so much more. This movie captures America and the impossible sorrow of being a person better than any other flick I can think of right now. In fact, it does it so well it makes me kind of happy. (I have a black tangled heart.)
